Swimming in a deep, refreshing natural quarry is the perfect way to cool off in the summer. Located just thirty minutes north of Charlotte, The Quarry at Carrigan Farms is an oasis. For more information please read the frequently asked questions page. Please note that both admission and restaurant are cash only. Reservations are required.
Swimming:
Safety comes first and lifeguards are on duty during open swim. Additionally, everyone must wear a life jacket unless they have passed the swim test. Life jackets are provided or you may bring your own. Only those twelve years old or older may take the swim test.
Children under two years old or weighing less than thirty pounds are not advised to swim in the quarry because our smallest life jackets are designed for children weighing thirty pounds or more.
Fishing:
Customers with an open swim reservation can enjoy catch-and-release fishing at our two farm ponds during open swim. The ponds have bass, bream, and crappie. Fishing is not permitted in The Quarry, or at non-open swim times.
All fishing is catch-and-release. Fish cannot be taken home and must be returned to the pond. Be sure to bring your gear.
