In 2005 Warriors & Warbirds started as a dream of several local pilots. With help from the City of Monroe, the Veterans Council of Union County, local businesses, and the hard work of volunteers, the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show has grown into one of the area’s largest aviation events honoring those who have served.
The 2024 Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show will be held November 9 and 10 at the Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport on Airport Road in Monroe. It will feature several planes from the World War II era and beyond. The show goes on, rain or shine, and parking is free. Limited handicapped parking is available near the airport; once the lot is full, it will become a drop-off and pick-up point. Buses will be available to shuttle patrons.
Coolers, smoking, and pets, except for service dogs, are not permitted. Bring blankets or folding chairs for seating. Cameras are allowed.

Cost
Box Seats (all ages) $45 | General Admission: $20 for adults, $15 for youth ages 12- 18, and $5 for current and former military service men and women. Children under 12 are FREE.How
