Camp Mindy and Camp Katan at the JCC (Jewish Community Center) are thrilled to announce that we are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as full and half-day camp counselors, lifeguards, and swim instructors for all age groups.

At Camp Mindy and Camp Katan, we believe in fostering a dynamic and inclusive environment where every camper can thrive. As a counselor, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable skills and experiences that will last a lifetime. Whether you're leading exciting activities, guiding campers through enriching programs or supervising swim sessions, your role will be instrumental in creating a memorable summer for all.

We're seeking individuals who are energetic, creative, and dedicated to providing a safe and engaging experience for our campers. No previous experience is required – just a love for working with children and a willingness to learn and grow with us. If you have a passion for outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, sports, or any other specialty, we want to hear from you!

Job Opportunities: 

  • Options to work with: Preschoolers • K–5th Graders • Teens 
  • Half Day (8:30am-1:30pm) or Full Day (8:30am-4:30pm) 
  • Earn more by working AM/PM Extended Camp Care 
  • Fun-filled environment and membership privileges 

Responsibilities & Duties 

  • Responsible for the supervision of campers 
  • Exercises good judgment and makes camper safety the number one priority 
  • Participates, energizes, interacts, and supervises campers in all activities to ensure camper participation, safety, and fun 
  • Communicates effectively with parents, director, and program coordinator 
  • Enforces camp rules and policies and leads by example
