Anyone who watches my stories or follows my social knows that I am a HUGE fan of Burn Boot Camp. I started at a local Burn about 5 years ago and it was the single best decision I've made - short of marrying my husband!
Not only did I see a dramatic change in my physique - I got stronger, stand taller and smile bigger - but my emotional relationship with fitness and food has completely transformed. I now see myself as a whole person and finding a like-minded community of strong men and women has made a huge difference.
I can hear some of you now: "Oh, no. I could NEVER do Burn Boot Camp - it's so intense." But honestly, when I started, I also said that. I had tried different boot-camp-style classes around Charlotte (after all, 10 years ago, I was part of the team that opened Lululemon in Charlotte - so I got a chance to try every single fitness class in our metro area) and something was just so intimidating about Burn. But after stepping foot on that magical floating floor, everything changed.
Burn Boot Camp is more than a gym. It's a community - and Weddington/Wesley Chapel is already showing signs of being one of the best! Sure, maybe I'm biased because I live here, but based on the ladies (and gentlemen) who show up week after week at the outdoor pop-up camps, I am certain of it.
