At Ballantyne Reading Academy our motto is “We Make Learning Fun” and that is never more evident than at our summer camps. Whether you are looking to help your child maintain their reading skills over the summer or want to give your little one a “head start” for preschool and kindergarten, our summer camps are perfect. We are passionate about inspiring lifelong reader and learners because we know the best readers are the ones who enjoy reading.
Highlights of our camps include:
- Week-long thematic-based camps with lots of reading, writing, discussion, and multisensory letter play that engages students in their own learning.
- Literature-based activities including games, storytelling, poetry, songs and dance with hands-on materials to expand reading and language skills.
- Small groups (maximum of 10 campers) to provide individualized attention.
- Camp leaders are all degreed, certified, current or former classroom teachers with experience in educating children of all levels and abilities.
- Camps run Monday-Friday, 9am-noon (snack provided)
- The extended session is offered noon-2:30pm on select weeks for an additional fee. (student needs to bring their own lunch)
- Early-bird tuition discount available until May 1.
- Sibling and Multi-camp discounts are also available.
