Almost every photo that I have of my kids and me is a selfie. Or I'm just not in the picture because I'm taking one. We've had entire vacations where you would wonder if I was there based on the photos.
I always encourage my husband or sister or mom to grab photos with me in them, but let's face it - they're always mid-bite or when I'm giving directions. I'm never looking at the camera or, if we all are looking, the photo comes out horrible and there's only ever ONE.
I was scrolling IG and kept seeing all these "Average Mom Summer" posts - where we all just celebrate exactly where we are RIGHT NOW and it made me think, it's been FOREVER since we took family photos.
