At the Art Box Ceramics and Canvas, we are getting fired up for summer camps! We can’t wait to share our new projects with our returning campers and fresh faces, as well. We are buzzing around creating up a storm of cool painting techniques, pottery projects and more!
Our Fired Arts Summer Camp includes ceramics, canvas, clay sculpting, and fused glass – all fired arts that require a kiln to finish – and usually all new experiences and materials for the campers to use! Plus we include canvas painting and mural painting…AND an art show on the final day!
Our summer camps are open for 7-12 year olds and this year we are offering 2 teen summer workshops for 12-16 year olds!
Following our Fired Arts Summer Camp, each day we offer a Pottery Wheel Throwing Camp, highlighted by an hour of learning to create bowls, vases, cups and more on the pottery wheel. Campers can sign up for just this camp, but most combine it with the Fired Arts Camp for the full experience.
Our Fired Arts Camp is Monday-Friday from 10 am – 1pm followed by the Pottery Wheel Throwing Camp from 1-2 pm each day.
The Art Box has been hosting summer camp since 2017, and each year we have expanded our offerings while keeping our class size small! But hurry because camps fill up fast due to the limited seating.
