It's BACK! Our Annual Gold Daisy School Awards have launched and we are so excited to celebrate the teachers and administrators who have worked tirelessly this year to navigate these uncharted waters. This year has been exceptionally hard for us all - the kids, the teachers, parents; but if it hadn't been for their amazing leadership and efforts, I know I'd be lost!
You're invited to VOTE DAILY for your favorite school (one vote per day per email address) and help them to win some fabulous prizes from our sponsors! Our top school will win a generous donation to the school to fund whatever is most needed. In instances where a school has a PTO, the money will go there. If your school does NOT have a PTO, it will be left to the administration to benefit the school.
The contest is open to ANYONE who'd like to vote for an ELEMENTARY school in Union County, NC. This includes charters, private schools and public schools.
Voting begins May 3, 2021, at 8 a.m. and runs through May 15, 2021, at 11 p.m. The winner will be announced on May 19th and we will present them with their goodies the last week of school!
If you don't see your school listed on the ballot, you may add it! The most important thing is that you SHARE SHARE SHARE the ballot and the information so that your school can win!

You can vote for ONE SCHOOL PER DAY throughout the contest period beginning May 3rd at 8 a.m. and ending May 15, 2021 at 11 p.m. One ballot per email address. You must be a Union County Macaroni Kid subscriber to vote; you will be added to our subscriber list if you are not already. Preschools/Daycares are not being considered in this contest. Schools must be within Union County.
