If you are used to large family gatherings and home-cooked meals for Christmas, this year may look very different. We're being asked to stay home and keep it small, so many people are struggling with how to modify regular family recipes to accommodate the small group. Some of you may prefer to NOT cook the whole meal.
Below is a list of local places organizing take-out for Christmas. But don't delay ~ get those orders in STAT so you don't miss out!
Anne Springs Close Greenway Gateway Bistro is offering family meals to go for Christmas. Order online HERE; the meal costs $60 and feeds 6 people.
Big View Diner is offering a complete Christmas Eve Dinner with spiral ham or braised boneless short ribs, and sides, for 6-12: $189 to $26. A la cart items available as well. You can get more information here.

Chef Alyssa's Kitchen is offering options throughout December at different price points. The meals are available for pick-up or delivery Monday through Friday, with same-day ordering until 11 a.m. Ordering for holiday meals begins Monday, December 7th, 2020. Copain Gatherings is offering Christmas meals to go. Orders must be placed by December 17th and pick up will be available on the 23rd or 24th. You can get more information HERE.
Cupcrazed in Baxter Village is offering baked goods to complement your Christmas feast. With lots of choices from cupcakes to cheesecake, you'll love the options! You can pre-order early on November 18th for early bird pricing by emailing orders@cupcrazed.com or call 803.396.8372.
Desarno's is offering Christmas meals to feed a family of four. Orders must be placed by December 17th and pick up is the 22-24th. Currently online ordering is closed, but you can call the store at (704) 919-0112 to place your order.
Earl’s Grocery is offering a special holiday feast with all the fixings, sides, and desserts! Most of the dishes serve 4 people. You can place your order by calling the store at 704-333-2757
Firebirds Woodfired Grill is offering two options: a Holiday Prime Rib Feast with prime rib, sides, and dessert, for 6: $169.99 or a Holiday Turkey Feast with turkey, sides, and dessert, for 6: $139.95. You can order from any of the three locations in (Charlotte: Northlake, Southpark, and Stonecrest) by December 20th for pickup on December 23rd or 24th. For more information click here.
Flipside Cafe in South Carolina will be hosting its Thanksgiving Feast 2020 on Thursday, November 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can reserve a table or schedule pick-up for your family by calling 803-324-3547.
Harper’s South Park is offering a dine-in or carry out option to help with your Christmas needs. All Orders Must Be Placed by Sunday December 20th. Pick Ups begin at 9am on December 24th. More information is available here.

La-Tea-Da's Catering is offering a Hanukkah package as well as a Christmas package. The Hanukkah Package includes cheese ball and crackers, holiday salad, brisket, potato latkes, cauliflower and Brussels, Rugelach, jelly-filled doughnuts and more: $50 to serve 2, and $95 to serve 4. The Christmas package includes cheese ball and crackers, holiday salad, prime rib, potatoes au gratin, asparagus, potato rolls, peppermint white chocolate cheesecake, more: $95 to serve 2, $180 to serve 4, $270 to serve 6. Sante in Matthews is offering dinner for two or four ($70-130) for Christmas including roasted and sliced turkey, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, roasted glazed carrots, green bean Almondine, stuffing, gravy, orange-cranberry sauce, and a choice of dessert (apple cranberry pie, pumpkin pie, or pecan pie).
