As the school year started last week with a whimper, and not a bang, we know that many kids are probably behind where they would typically be. Summer slide is real, but how do you account for it during a pandemic? Most of our kids - if not all - were out of traditional schooling since March and many may need just a little extra to get them back on track.
Last week we opened up our Free Registration period for those looking to join our family! Yes, our family - as we look at each of our students as an extension of our tribe. Our goal at Kumon Wesley Chapel is to help your children master math and reading, build study skills like confidence, focus and work ethic and reduce homework stress and test anxiety. The best part: we often help them earn their best grades ever!
Here’s how it works:
- Make an appointment with our center
- You’ll attend an orientation
- Your kids will complete a placement test that will give you insights into where they stand in their learning and a recommended progression path
- Our instructors will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon
