Small-Group Learning Pods
6:1 student to teacher ratio
Our popular preschool and kindergarten readiness classes remain the same, but we’ve tweaked our group classes for older grades to more closely align with pacing guidelines and targeted grade-level curriculum. Choose between an hour of literacy instruction, an hour of math, or two hours (an hour of each).
Bring a Buddy Tutoring
2:1 student to teacher ratio
If your child has a friend with similar learning needs, we’ll see them together. They’ll receive the same personalized lessons at a discounted rate!
Individual Tutoring
1:1 student to teacher ratio
If you’re already part of the BRA family, you know our one-on-one tutoring helps children not only meet but surpass their goals. After a free evaluation to determine strengths, needs, learning styles, and interests, we’ll create a personalized curriculum just for your child. We offer 30 minute, 45 minute, or hour-long sessions that fit your schedule and your child’s needs.
To ensure your child and our teachers are safe while learning, we've implemented new procedures to follow CDC guidelines. We're limiting the number of children in the building at one time, masks are mandatory for teachers and provided for students (should they chose to wear one), we're sanitizing surfaces frequently, not sharing materials and keeping distant as best as young children can. Our summer campers have followed our new "rules" well and we'll continue to make safely learning our priority.
Since our founding in 2012, Ballantyne Reading Academy for the Very Young has been leading the way to provide exciting, effective, and meaningful learning experiences for children to succeed in school and beyond. All of our teachers are degreed, current, or former classroom teachers and/or reading specialists with experience in differentiating lessons to accommodate all levels of learners.
