This week, alongside my partners Dunkin' Donuts, Move Pack Clean and Spivey Insurance Group, I had the honor and pleasure of delivering some treats and money to our Gold Daisy School Award and our second place schools!
Last spring, we ran our inaugural Gold Daisy School Award and Union Day School took top billing as YOUR choice for favorite Union County school, with New Town Elementary coming in a close second. Without your participation, these schools would not have been able to take these honors and win some generous prizes.
While presenting to Union Day School teachers and staff, we learned that the principal intends to use the $750 winnings to support his teachers and staff while they navigate these uncharted waters we find ourselves in this school year. New to the school, he learned about their winnings only last week and was so thrilled to have the support of the community.
Teachers at both schools were ecstatic to have some goodies from Dunkin and the honor of sharing that their school families think they are the BEST in the land.
Bravo to both Union Day School and New Town Elementary School! We are so grateful to all of our teachers and staff who are working tirelessly to manage the educational needs of our kids in this brave new world. Thank you for all you do and we wish you luck this year!
