A Note from Rachael

April 13, 2020

This time last year, our family was in London. We were having such a marvelous time exploring and trying new things, living the "city life" in an AirBnB flat near the park. So much has changed in 12 short months. But also, has it?

This year, instead of trotting off to some beach or resort, our family is hunkered down here - at home - together. We are watching movies this week, eating fun foods and planning for when we can leave the house again. We are spending time together - and that's the part that matters.

So, while we can absolutely mourn the loss of normalcy - maybe in stead we can start to plan next year's fun trip. Where will you go? What will you do when we can explore again? Make a list - write it all down and have the kids help?

In this week's issue, you'll find some guidance on managing the disappointments, frustrations and emotions surround COVID. You'll find some fun and games to do together and you'll find some tips for making the most of it.

All I can really offer you is the hope that tomorrow is a new day and this, too, shall pass.
