Spring break has arrived...the kids are tired from playing outside...what's next?
Maybe it's time for a movie - but not just any movie... Pick one that has meaning! Read below for my top five growth mindset movies that can be found on Netflix. These flix are great for character development as well as stress the importance of persevering through any challenge. The common trend in all these movies is that the characters do not give up. HARD WORK, PAYS OFF. I promise you will not be disappointed.
1. Trolls - "No Troll left behind!"
2. Leap! - In this underrated movie, two orphans overcome the odds to meet their dreams of becoming an engineer and ballet dancer.
3. Inside Out - Ever wonder what it's like in your kid's head?? Never wonder again.
4. Zootopia - This story shows what happens when a carnivore and herbivore join forces to fight crime - they overcome what others think to do what's right.
5. Hotel For Dogs - Another story about an orphan siblings who find their purpose in taking care dogs, over taking care of themselves.
Of course there are many, many more movies on Netflix that are inspirational for kids. Stay posted. I take the advice of a sassy little four year old ;)
